This advanced practical art course in Drawing & Painting is for learners who have had some previous experience in making art and want to further their individual, creative, imaginative, analytical thinking and learning more advanced technical skills in using acrylics, watercolours, pencil, pastel, and ink etc. We shall examine and analyse other artist’s works and learners will be encouraged in finding their own practical artistic voice through themes such as still life, landscape, portraiture etc. At the end of each session learners will examine theirs and other’s work learning to use a more specialist art vocabulary.

The Ascentis Level 3 Award in Education is an introduction to teaching and it is appropriate for teachers, tutors and trainers who may be working within an FE college, Community Learning and Skills Provider or Independent Learning Provider.
