This course is for anyone who wants to develop their practical knowledge on how to compose a piece of artwork utilising Mixed Media techniques.
What will I learn on this course?
During this course you will be learning about Mixed Media in Art, its concept, origins in art history as well as visually exploring a multitude of techniques in the creation of Mixed Media both as sketchbook investigation and developing into finished artworks.
Each week introduces new approaches — starting with getting to know different materials, then moving on to applying those skills in varied ways.
The course builds progressively, with each technique connecting to and building upon what you’ve learned before. This is a fun course promoting the freedom to explore materials in such a way that will lead to visually stunning results!
