Title

Singing Wassail songs, folk and seasonal songs.

Who is this course for?

This is for anyone with an interest in beginning to participate in group harmony singing.

What will I learn on this course?

These group harmony singing classes will offer you the opportunity to develop singing skills and technique, along with the opportunity for some individual and group improvisation.

This series’ repertoire will comprise new and old wassail songs, a type of nature related folk song. Traditional and modern pieces. You will learn at least 3 new songs not taught at Calat before.

You will learn about how to prepare to sing, how to listen to others while singing harmony, how to articulate and communicate the songs. We will sing unaccompanied.

Course entry requirements

All experience levels accepted.
Learners will require a good understanding of spoken and written English and should be able to work independently.

Additional Information (equipment etc.)

You will need a bottle of water as singing is thirsty work.

Progression opportunities

Further singing classes. Or try another Creative Arts class or community choir.
