What Will I learn?
By the end of the course depending on your level of experience you should be able to:
•Understand how The Renaissance in Europe began.
•Have discussed and investigated the techniques and life and times of the artists concerned.
•Have increased your knowledge and enjoyment of Art.
Subject Contents/Topics to be covered
•The development of The Renaissance.
• A look at key works and artists of the period.
Teaching/Learning Methods
•Interactive presentation lecture based course using high resolution slides.
•Directed independent study as well as group based activities.
Assessment Pattern
You will learn to evaluate your understanding and recognise areas for improvement with help from your tutor.
What Extra Work Do I Need to Do Outside the Classroom?
Personal research.
Equipment Materials to be brought to the First Meeting
Pen and paper for making notes. Personal learning file.
Other Notes
Learners will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements for trips.
