What will I learn?

Come and join us for this short, informative and interactive session about the wonders of Florence.

Learn about the best ways to travel to Florence, typical food and drink of the area and the main attractions to see.

Delve into the wonders of the Orsanmichele church and museum, found in the heart of Florence and a ‘must see’ on the tourist trail. This is one of the most important places for sculpture in the early Renaissance years.

Next, we will travel to the Uffizi Gallery, home to magnificent works of art by Renaissance Masters such as Donatello, Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.

Finally, learn about Florence’s most famous family – the Medici family whose power and influence shaped Florentine life, art and culture.
