The course is for people who are interested in a career in working with adults within the Care sector, and who do not yet have an existing qualification in this area.
It will support you in understanding the skills needed to work with adults and to understand the role of a Carer.

What related qualifications can you progress to?
At the end of the course, there will be an English assessment. Learners who can, are then able to progress to:-
- Level 1 Introduction to Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Settings
- E3 Progression to Care and Childcare
Attendance requirements
You will need to attend all 4 sessions to receive a certificate.
How to apply
To book onto this course, you must be 19 years of age or above as of 31.8.24 and live in the borough of Croydon.
The course may be free depending on your current employment status or income. You will need to be able to produce original official Photo ID, such as a current passport or driving licence, and if working, we need to see your last 3 months' wage slips. If you are unemployed, we will need to see proof of any benefits you are currently receiving.
