Who is it suitable for?
NCFECACHE L1 Award Introduction to Health & Social Care and Children & Young People's Settings
This course is for people who are interested in working in Care with adults or children and who do not have an existing qualification in these areas.
There is a minimum age to enrol on this course. You must be 19 years of age or above as of 31.8.24.

Attendance requirements
If enrolled onto this course, you will need to attend sessions punctually and stay for the course duration.
How to apply
You are invited to attend an information and assessment session at our Thornton Heath centre.
At the session you will complete a short English assessment and have a discussion with the course tutor.
The course may be free depending on your current employment status or income.
When you attend, you will need to bring with you, official Photo ID and proof of income (your last 3 months' wage slips, or if unemployed, proof of any benefits you are currently in receipt of.)

Unfortunately, we cannot see anyone who has not booked onto the information session in advance. We are unable to admit children at these sessions.
If successful, you will be offered a place on the course, and receive an offer letter.
