The development of Modern Art.

Art in Europe and around the world and its development from the early 20th Century.

Teaching/Learning Methods

Online interactive seminars using Zoom video conferencing. Interactive presentation Lecture based course using high Resolution slides.
Directed independent study as well as group based activities.
Gallery trip.

Assessment Pattern

Your progress and achievement will be recognised throughout the duration of the course.

You will learn to evaluate your understanding and recognise areas for improvement with help from your tutor.

At the end of the course you and your tutor will discuss and record what you have achieved and what you still need or want to learn.

Need access to zoom on a suitable device. Travel and any other costs for gallery visits

What extra work do I need to do outside the classroom?

Personal research.

Equipment to be brought to the first meeting

Pen and paper for making notes. Personal learning file.

Other Notes

Learners will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements for trips.

You will be asked to complete necessary paperwork in order that CALAT can claim government funding to subsidise the cost of the course.
