What will I Learn?

The NCFE Level 1 Photography course offers a comprehensive introduction to the world of photography. All coursework contributes to the completion of the NCFE Level 1 award.

Assessment Pattern

Informal/formal assessment of work throughout, including one to one and group observation and portfolio assessments.



Additional costs to students

Printing images/photobooks, travel costs for location visits.

What Extra Work Do I Need to Do Outside the Classroom?

Homework and portfolio work.

Equipment Materials to be brought to the First Meeting

You’ll need a camera, USB Memory Stick and notebook.

Other Notes

Location work will be included (all information will be given in advance).
