Who is this course for?

This course is for anyone who is new to drawing or if you wish to refresh existing skills.

What Will I learn?

You will learn how to use the grid drawing technique and develop your observational drawing skills through a series of practical activities. Your tutor will introduce the grid method by demonstrating each stage of the process, explaining how to accurately transfer an image by breaking it down into smaller, more manageable sections.
Throughout the session, your tutor will provide demonstrations, individual guidance, and constructive feedback to help you develop your skills and gain a better understanding of how the grid technique can be used as an effective tool for observational drawing.

Progression opportunities:

This taster session is part of my course: Drawing for Everyone (Monday: 10.00am- 12.00pm) & (Thursday 1.00pm-3.00pm) at CALAT Croydon Clocktower & many other creative arts courses.

Course entry requirements:

For Creative Arts course learners must be able to work independently.

Additional Information (equipment etc.):

Please bring with you HB & tonal pencil range, eraser, sharpener, tortillon & masking tape. All additional media will be supplied by the tutor.
