Morning Session (Approx. 2.5 hours) – Sewing Machine Skills

Introduction to sewing machines and health & safety.
Machine parts and functions.
Threading the machine and winding a bobbin.
Practising straight stitching, corners, and seam allowances.
Troubleshooting common sewing issues.
Preparing fabric pieces for the tote bag.

Afternoon Session (Approx. 2.5 hours) – Tote Bag with Appliqué

Introduction to appliqué techniques.
Designing and positioning the appliqué.
Constructing the tote bag.
Attaching handles and finishing techniques.
Final press, review, and care advice
