Who is it suitable for?
City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Care for those who are employed or working in a voluntary capacity.
This qualification is versatile and can be for those who work in residential, domiciliary care or with people with a learning difficulty, with dementia, mental health, substance misuse recovery, supported living, as a keyworker, team leader.
What will I learn?
The Diploma is broken down into units, and these units are selected on tasks/duties that you are required to do in your job role, and the units may include:
Communication, Safeguarding, person centred approaches, lead care worker, medication, challenging behaviour, mental health, dementia, learning disabilities, substance misuse, advance care planning, effective team working.
How will the course be taught?
Lively, interactive learning through 1-1 tutorials, discussion, group work and class-based practice. This course helps you understand your clients' needs and gives you more information and greater insight.
