What will I learn?
The course aims to help you:

Essential Equipment
A computer and Internet access are essential as you will be required to word process work.
You will also need internet access to send and receive emails from your tutor and to research information.
You will need a notepad or notebook and pens for classroom use
Joining instructions
All candidates are required to attend an online information and interview on the dates listed at the beginning of this course summary. You will also need to complete an online English and maths assessment after you have submitted your application.
You will need to set up an account through our website before you can book a place on an information assessment.
If successful and you are offered a place on a course, you will be given instructions on how to enrol online or in person at any one of the CALAT centres.

Entry requirements
A minimum of entry 3 English / literacy. If you wish to progress further you will be required to attend additional English / literacy classes to support your learning.
You will be asked to complete all paperwork necessary for CALAT to claim government funding which subsidises the cost of the course.
Equipment required
Access to a computer, paper, printer, A4 lever arch folder and dividers, pen and notebook / writing paper and USB memory stick.
Students are advised NOT to buy any books until recommended by the course tutor.
